Space Raccoon Forever
Here's hoping that Gary takes over from Sgt. Hatred. To be fair, Hatred was on better form tonight than he was last season, but I still find him to be one of the weaker characters. 21 would be an interesting change.
I just don't want trailers that show me two thirds of the plot of the movie. A THIRD AT MOST DAMMIT!
Best three tracks? Doin' It Right, Contact, and yes, Touch. Touch is over the top, melodramatic, and fucking fantastic as a result. It's better than the play-safe homage tracks that litter the rest of the album, some of which some close to muzak in their slightly bland modern take on the 70s.
The wardrobe department has done more justice to Clara than the writing department throughout the series.
I found this kinda painful to watch; I already knew the things Leeland had done so there wasn't much dramatic point, and watching those things happen was just painful and disturbing. Some of the Bowie stuff was fun but felt rather pointless. I'm not a huge fan.
No, the Breen look like Leia's bounty hunter get-up at the start of ROTJ . Wikipedia reliably informs me that expanded universe attributes this armour to someone called Boushh, but anyway, that costume is quite clearly the inspiration for the Breen
Was the comic castle the same castle as 'In Bruges' ? At the very least I think some of the frontage and bridge shots were?
ha perhaps so
I like the idea that he sent him an email.
Sikso@ defiant.fed, then ooooh an attachment! Sure hope the defiant computer supports PDFs!
Sadly for Ed Helms, his character has been so hateable that when he's being a minor stupid cocky idiot, in a Scott-like way, all I think of is him being a major stupid cocky idiot, which just makes me dislike all he does. I can sadly say his character is beyond redemption for me, I was just waiting for the andy scenes…
This episode seem to suggest that Barney values ticking things off lists more than actual party fun. This is retarded.
This is the first time on Doctor Who where I have felt the Wardrobe Department has outperformed all other departments all series. Although I did enjoy the floating engine room effects
Yeah, I found Darkness and the Light to be terrible. Whilst it is tempting to explore the sort of boundary of killing ideas, I think it's something the writers don't pull off well here, the imagery is unsubtle and simplistic, the dialogue is clunky, and there's a general plodding to the plot that only vagueley…
Fuck man Jurassic Bark, man that is the just the saddest episode of anything ever
SPOILERS FOR VENTURE BROS
Anyone else think this was a solid B and nothing more?
It felt like a fairly average episode to me, I think there less glaring problems, unlike last week, but this felt like an ok but not amazing episode, like RTD era.
dean? dean VENTURE?
Yeah, plus they did the same thing to Gul Dukat. The episode where he makes Empak Nor into Jonestown had some good aspects to it, but then he has that retarded human transformation, which seemed cool but went no where, and he spent ages just chilling with Kai Winn being boring, then became ultimate evil.
A) This episode really reminds of the sci-fi magazine episode of DS9, which is a great episode
B) Was I the only one who was hoping that at the end of the episode Buffy would untie Xander and Willow, help Tara up… but perhaps just leave Dawn in the basement, or at least leave that tape on her mouth, so she could stop…
