overall, they're okay. i really like miller's crossing. but i can't imagine being excited for their films.

well, "the cats of ulthar" is pretty awesome, if i recall correctly. (i've not read anything in over 15 years by hp lovecraft.)

the latter half of that joyce carol oates one seems to cover all the most well known stuff, and though i don't remember any details, i don't recall any of them being racist! i suggest that one.

she's part of this whole as far as i know unnamed subgenre that i think of as sylph music—vashti bunyan, bridget st john, linda perhacs, jean redpath, etc. some of my favorite music.
