i left out a lot of hearts bands because i was gonna do a whole section for hearts, but then i forgot.

some people are just preserved by all that alcohol.

i actually really dig late era replacements to a degree that i assume most people wouldn't understand, but husker du are something that i especially appreciate when in the proper mood.

i didn't bother watching it, even though the subject matter is obviously something i should be into. maybe i'll give it a peak one day and see if it's at all close to being what i think it is.

in the pantheon of 60s soul greats, i'd pit brenton wood up against almost anyone but sam cooke.

wasn't there a johnny knoxville movie about it?

skynyrd might be my least favorite band ever. highly associated in my mind with the worst qualities of alabama.

i do love little richard, but i have to give the edge to the new orleans local.

i suspect there's a few fans around these parts (sg, i'm guessing), and that's not a knock against 'em. just not my cup of meat.

here's where i admit i hate the allman brothers.

anyone who doesn't pick boytronic isn't queer enough.

not bad picks all around, though i must say, the lowest of the low is my actual favorite band ever (though i do adore the supremes). angel'in heavy syrup is also a favorite, and i hope you dig the hell out of them.

i like that everyone just rolls with that last one.
