It's more interesting, at least.

Toph, I feel like we share a brain. At the end of S5 (I've said this before) I was completely convinced there would be a dark!Willow arc, building on her power/control issues and insecurity. Instead we got magic crack.
I like "New York City Boy," actually.
I used to crank Lotus when it came on the air.
I hardly ever read their music reviews. This is reminding me why.
Yeah, "Lady in My Life" is solidly mediocre, and the rest of the album is so good. It's not even interestingly bad.
I loved "Miss Gradenko" and hated "Mother" but the transition is nice, I'll agree. Even if you think the music is OK, the lyrics are just shit.
"They" only hit until you cry. IIRC, there's some other suggestions it's a kid.
Indeed, the AV Club does this all the time for DVD packaging/collections.
Black Books
I actually watched a lot of old stuff between Hulu and Netflix Instant, but the funniest of all was Black Books. The characters are in that sweet spot between 'asshole' and 'unredeemable asshole', and every episode is hilarious.
Netflix Instant has it, as mentioned above.
I watched Eastern Promises this year, too. That was a great damn movie.
One of the great things about M is how judiciously they use the sound. It's so subtle and just as stirring as the big orchestral beats of today's movies.
I read Bridge of Birds for the first time this year and wish I'd done it much sooner. Number Ten Ox is one of my favorite characters now.
Buffy Season 6 says otherwise.
Happy everything, y'all, catch this in the new year!
When you're female you generally don't, Nameless One.
Who wouldn't want to say 'I was there' on the night of the first fatality?
