I've been meaning to watch Team America since it came out, and that might've put me over the edge.

I'm still watching it but I wish they wouldn't focus so much on the weakest link in the cast. Kim and Caan in particular have a perfectly laid-back, breezy vibe that belongs in a better, more enjoyable show.

If they drop M. Night they're still stuck with the weird racial casting though. I suppose they could at least make the Earth Kingdom properly multicultural, though I suspect they'll cast Kristen Bell as Toph.

For bonus misogyny, remember any time a boy comedy shows up and gets dissed Tasha Robinson gets blamed.

I think he got up to his elbow. I seriously started reading these comments to see who else remembered that bit. Creepy as fuck, especially the way he was 'pushed.'

I hate to be serious in this thread, but while she may be old enough to fire him, a lot of times adult kids in abusive relationships have trouble establishing independence from that abusive parent. And…this is creepy and controlling at best.

Wow…

Abed's mom also left, which…I can't see myself doing that, either. You know? She had to already have, on some level, broken with him emotionally, once-a-year visit or not.

Those are two of the best parts!

"The season struck me as piling misery upon misery in a way which said nothing about the universal human condition and instead highlighted grimness over all other aspects of human life. "'

The years were pretty kind to them.

That was AMAZING.

That chart is hilarious.

I like the notes about Dawn's dance. Wish they'd done more stuff like that with her character.

I think I like the episode less in retrospect too, as it sets up some plot developments I wasn't happy with.

I love their duet. I'm saddened by the turn Giles' character takes from here, but that moment was so powerful.

Jordo, I don't want the writers to tell me FUCK YOU. I want them to do what makes sense for the characters and the show.

It explains a lot though, doesn't it, Tecumseh?

I do love the running joke that Angel is a horrible singer.

HipsterDBag, your aesthetic sense sucks, and Lawrence Fishburne agrees with me.
