If they could pretty much recreate Glee without Will, I'm there.

Yeah, I can't quite figure out how the Glee photoshoot is SO MUCH WORSE than any other photoshoot ever. Hell, one of the girls' characters had a baby last season, even 'in canon' she's had sex.

I bet they won't drink as much in the remake
The movies sans boozing will each be 20 minutes long.

If you just skipped the first few epsiodes, would things make sense? Or do you just have to slog through it?

I still haven't seen The Wrestler, but Shakespeare ripped off another play to do Romeo and Juliet and everyone seems okay with that. Adaptation is part of art.

Was his evil twin Jewish? (I thought Father Dowling was just a charming little cozy series. This evil twin stuff is boggling me.)

Dumbledore, just check out Disney channel. Wizards of Waverly Place is all over that stuff.

Yeah, as long as they don't show too many boobs they'll probably get to a PG-13 petty easily.

Did anyone realize how weirdly homoerotic it was going to be?

Oh, Jim, you hit the nail on the head with Axl. He's my asshole brother-in-law. Suddenly so much is explained.

pfapfap, I think a lot of people didn't care about the Nirvana vs. GnR whateverness. We were rocking the Violent Femmes a lot.

Yeah, I remember trying to decide which volume of Use Your Illusion I should buy (in the end it was neither).

In Utero was amazing. It's when I finally started listening to Nirvana rather than just calling them over-loved and over-hyped.

Wikipedia sez:

Chartex, I think he meant the kids Treadwell talked to at schools were getting brainwashed.

And then he tells the person who has the tape to destroy it, because it will haunt her for the rest of her life if she doesn't.

I thought the creepy doctor scene was really affecting. Part of the reason Treadwell *died* was because he didn't respect the strength of the animals and what could happen to him.

Tim C, his wilderness skills were okay, it was his boundaries he couldn't sustain. He blurred the lines of what should've been a mutual keeping of distance.

Yeah, I feel like this could've been a lot longer a reflection.

Yeah. And I think for many people (and by this I mean me) the premise was so skeevy that I became unwilling to sit through the crap to get to the interesting stuff.
