Leave Bridge of Spies alone you haters!

I prefer Bridge of Spies to Revenant. Rylance and Hanks are both great, and the story is consistently strong.

This was a really, really weak year for Best Actor in general, nominees or no. Fassbender had maybe 2 of the 3 best with Macbeth and Steve Jobs, for one.

To be fair to Vikander, she is damn good in it. Absolutely nothing else is (well Whishaw is adorable but when isn't he), though.

I prefer it to Prisoners, but I can get that order too. Just irks me how little attention it gets and how Gyllenhaal didn't even get nominated for anything last year.

At least someone else has seen Enemy.

Outside of the whacky Law and Order-esque ending of Prisoners, Villeneuve has yet to disappoint. I have full faith.

That section on best actor is pretty much perfect throughout and you nailed everything I feel about it. Only thing I really disagree on is saying Big Short was the worst nominated film, but I won't get upset over that. Everyone knows Fury Road is king.
