This shouldn't make me sad but it kinda does.

I think that, in this episode, Rachel is pretty reasonable.
Okay bud.
Okay, that's fair. Mondays are rough.
Oh, I don't claim he was a saint after, either. It was shitty behavior but it's a mistake I don't feel deserves a super harsh judgment.
Being single is.
They were asked a question about the earliest portrayals they saw of trans people. This seems like a pretty reasonable answer.
No, but it does help stop people from forming those dug-in, immovable prejudices in the first place.
I mean, this person was asked about non-cis characters that impacted them when they were younger. It's totally valid for a non-cis person to view things from that lens.
So do you have another account? Do you log out of one Disqus account, log into this one, log out of this one, then log back into your other one…all just for this dumb post that no one seems to like?
But when large groups of the audience already feel that way, you're just reinforcing it. That's the shitty part.
No, they don't. You're right. But then it's an issue of representation. If you get one Asian kung fu master, that's fine. If the only Asian characters you get are kung fu masters, that's more of an issue.
I'm pretty young, I saw the movie for the first time a few years ago, so I can't really say.
I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest criticism out there. People generally seek out opinions they agree with. By that logic, the only solution is to just not have opinions or not say them.
But it does. If you say one person is lying about being trans, then you're implying that other people can be faking it too. Especially in an era where there was little to no representation for actual trans people in any media.
They were asked a question and they answered. It's not like they just started rambling about this out of the blue. I mean, who seems super offended?
But that line of thought in Silence of the Lambs implies that trans people can't be trusted, that they're faking it or are mentally ill or whatever.
WHAS was pretty good, and Voltron was amazing, if disappointingly short. I was all excited about having two new seasons to watch on Netflix and then…both were done by Saturday morning.
Well, if you cut out the cheese curds I guess you just end up with gravy fries.
You've never had poutine before?
