A couple of the writers have formspring accounts.  They've said that when storyboarding episodes they mark up ideal songs for the situation.  Then, more often than not, they check the licensing cost and opt for something else or a sound-alike original composing.  But, every once in a while they get the song they

A lot of the supporting and antagonistic characters are anthropomorphic things, though.  Chad, Jeremy, Park Avenue, GBF, Buttonwillow, the guardians of youth, the animatronic band, Techmo, Doug, I could probably keep going.  It's just the incidental background characters that are almost uniformly human.

It's an interesting thought, especially considering the proto-RS college short 2 AM in the PM.  Personally, I think of it as an extension of Looney Tunes animal logic, even if they don't particularly behave like their respective species.  They're for all intents and purposes human, they just look like animals.  The

I was caught by how beautiful the animation of the sketch was in The Great Wakkorotti when rewatching a few years ago.  At the time I was recovering from dental surgery and hopped up on vicodin.  My wife had a great time laughing at me.

Cool Bikes was fairly recent; it's the midpoint of the current season which is wrapping up in the next couple of episodes.  They've been more willing to have episodes that aren't too supernatural in nature (Muscle Mentor comes to mind; nothing supernatural happens at all), but it's hardly new.  Caffeinated Concert

Hey now, I'm a fan of AT and RS.  Both are great shows.  Admittedly I'm usually more entertained by RS than AT, but that doesn't mean it's the better show or that I'm out to attack one over the other.  This week I thought RS was more enjoyable, that's all.  We all can be friends!  I think we can all learn to get along

There's a Regular Show thread? I've only ever seen the show discussed in AT comments and didn't see one this week yet.

This episode was boring. I appreciate the card game jokes, but a parody of those sorts of games wasn't enough to carry it. There wasn't any build-up for Jake's whole sore-loser-and-winner thing, it was obvious from the start. Everything was just so incidental, and there were zero surprises.
