She took the full round of antibiotics and got it cleared up!

Or maybe young Bashir had a highly developed interior imaginary world that his dad misinterpreted as disability. I know that I was stuck in the low class in kindergarten because I had no interest in reading. By first grade, they were skipping me ahead. Bashir's dad is an ass—this we cannot forget.

That TD managed to capture the feel of the Deep South was, to me, extraordinary (and possibly derivative, sure—see Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, O'Toole, etc.). It's just not something I see on TV very often. Except on True Blood, but I'm not sure if we're supposed to mention True Blood when discussing a prestige

And I think this is why people are always saying that "X genre is dead." Because movies tend to run with one genre for years, until some new fad hits. So we have dozens of superhero movies and so few musicals, whereas in a decade, we'll probably have all slapstick comedies and no sci-fi, etc.

We're not talking about your weekend right now.

Someday Scrawler—maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of Happy Hour—you'll enjoy a Tom Collins with me.

San Francisco cocksucka!
