I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I have to run to work in a few minutes and don't have time to read the comments at the moment. Anywho, as an avid Blu-Ray collector I was wondering if anyone knew of a place on these here internets where I can find a list or discussions of bad Blu-Ray transfers. I'm

People really need to read the Grand Jury report before saying anything about this. Paterno isn't a scapegoat. He deserved to be fired. He most likely knew about Sandusky in 1998, when he was being investigated by the University Police for molesting young boys in the shower. There's no way that investigation goes on

Does it matter? He/She is only watching the show to find reasons to hate on it and then get attention and/or "educate" the masses. If it's at all possible to negatively interpret an aspect of Community this person will probably do it. Doing more homework and writing lengthy posts doesn't make them any less of a troll.

Agreed. I love being able to finish a night of new Community with a new Archer.

I think it perfectly fits Shirley's character to be a Creationist. There are a lot of perfectly nice, reasonable people who believe the world isn't billions of years old. They can still pass biology classes even if they don't agree with some of it, but it also makes sense that people would be apprehensive about

Agreed. I don't get why some people aren't willing to trust the show a bit. Let the whole thing play out as I think the past three episodes have largely been set-up for the rest of the season. It may just be me being hopeful, but I willing to bet the show is going somewhere with this and I doubt its just making the

If you've a fan of this show, why don't you trust it yet? Last season many fans bemoaned the Pierce arc as him acting out of character, why the group still put up w/ him, etc. On re-watch, when you can view as many eps back-to-back as you please, the storyline makes more sense and Pierce's behavior fits within the

But I heard people have a nice young prospect starting this year. Drafted first round and red-shirted his freshman year.

Well to be fair, replacing it with a video exalting the "honor" and "spirit" of the game is still pandering, except now it's aimed at all football fans. I don't think ESPN (or Fox Sports for that matter) knows how to report on or broadcast sports without pandering to someone.

But don't they already do stuff like that in the hour(s) leading up to the game? Are they shifting it all to the back end or is there just going to be more of it?

All that AND your own theme music played by a live band that adjusts to whatever you happen to be doing.

And whatever crap song they replace it with WILL belong in football? You can feel all warm and fuzzy about this if you want to, but as many others have stated all that's going to happen is it'll be replaced with some other equally annoying song.

Oh come on now. By all means you can dislike the guy, but the Monday Night Football song is a reworking of one of his own songs entitled "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight." So, while someone most likely tweaked the song for him it's still largely based on something he himself wrote.Furthermore, I

I enjoy watching commercials to an extent. It can be fun to over-analyze broad  attempts at humor or to MST3K them (the NFL commericals with fairy Deion Sanders are great for this and unavoidable if you're watching a game live). Also, since I tend to be on my 'puter while watching tv, the commercials allow me time to

Invade and take over the US. I swear you can do it if'n you got enough money.

Or, the show is beginning the 3rd season trying to hook some new viewers who may not be familiar with all the characters, so it's re-establishing some of their dynamics before expanding in new directions. Of course, that's what I'm hoping it is… I have no way of knowing if that's true or not.

In terms of seeing characters reach their breaking points, what about Abed's outbursts from the last episode? It seemed trivial at the time, but it fits his character that his breaking point would be the cancellation (or abrupt end) of his favorite television show.

I should clarify, I wasn't trying to discredit Community for the Spartacus joke. I also thought the group misinterpreting Jeff was hilarious.

"Circle jerk?" I must've missed all these people praising Fringe for inventing multiverse theories. Lots of science fiction uses parallel worlds, and I doubt anyone here first heard about them from Fringe. Look, just because something older used a joke/trope/etc that doesn't automatically discredit something more

Also, isn't the "I am Spartacus"-styled joke way older than that South Park episode. I remember a Pepsi commercial doing one before that (although that's a much more direct reference as befitting such an ad).
