I'm way too distracted by Jon Hamm's use of the word "outlier" to describe all the music made by black folks on his iPod to get into how hot I usually find him. And his slavish devotion to iTunes for his music downloading needs probably yields another demerit. But props on the nods to Portishead and Palm's Directors…

"Overcome" has got to be one of the best opening tracks ever. It beautifully sets the tone for everything that comes after it. Maxinquaye overall is Tricky's masterpiece as well as his albatross.
