In Mike's legendary "no half-measures" speech to Walt in Breaking Bad, he lets a bad guy off the hook only to have that same bad guy kill an innocent person. In this episode, he lets another bad guy off the hook only to have an innocent person get killed on account of that mistake.

Preferably Vince Gilligan. Man that guy sucks! Has he ever had a single original idea?

I'm pretty sure I would have loved Skyler White as played by Rhea Seahorn.

When is Nacho finally gonna die? Never. He's invincible. You can bank on that.

There's also no trace of Bogdan's brother either. Why? Because I doubt Walter White gives a shit.

Ironically, Jimmy could say the same to Chuck, lying in a hospital bed afraid of electricity. I think that's the point of Chuck's character. He sucks, even though he's objectively "right".

Or rather, Jimmy's white collar crime is the lesser of two evils when compared to the morally repugnant "non-crime" of trying to get your own brother thrown in jail.

So did Hank. Man did that guy deserve a bullet for trying to stop our hero! \sarcasm.

It's much easier to like someone's Mozart-like zeal for deception when it is exercised in your favour. But yes, Kim does have some part of her that likes what Jimmy does.

Having spent much of this week watching semi-good shows like Jessica Jones and Daredevil, what struck me most about returning to the awesomeness of Better Call Saul is how consistently good each scene is.

I couldn't care less about characters ageing out of sync with their actors. They're acting anyway. I can suspend my disbelief enough to imagine these characters looking a little younger.

Chuck and Jimmy's mother is alive at least, but their relationship with her is unclear. All we really know is that she "hears what she wants to hear." I get the impression that Chuck and she share a similar opinion about Jimmy.

True dat.

Because they're the majority and this is Survivor.

Cheerleading isn't really a gender-specific put-down. It's a put-down based on your behavior. Calling someone "Blondie" is probably a putdown (and it's certainly not respectful), but on the scale of bad things you can call someone, it isn't very high.

Alecia is a strong woman who never gives up. She also never gives up on an argument, even when she's on a game show where a large part of it is figuring out how to get people on your side. Arguing with them isn't going to do that.

To be fair, Cydney was recovering from heat-stroke at the time. But even if she wasn't, staying out of it is the thing to do. If you get in the middle of a stupid argument in a game like Survivor, it rarely works out well for you.

What about Alecia? Do you like her? Why/why not?

Agreed. I think Scot, Jason AND Alecia all suck. Cydney is the only person on that tribe I'd like to spend any amount of time interacting with.

"Because it was really hot and we had just lost and she went on and on and ON about how she was just trying to help the team by cheerleading. I probably overreacted, but sometimes arguing forever about something after it has happened just makes things worse."
