I'm here for my fine taste in prestige television.

I have seen zero of these. But I did enjoy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.

It's fairly obvious the island was meant to be purgatory, but they severely underestimated the level of discourse and dissection the internet would engage in and they didn't anticipate the recap/review age.

The edgy Bojack comeback attempt pretty much encapsulates every single career decision Bob Saget has made since the end of Full House and his hosting America's Funniest.

OPENING SCENE:

No, salaried. I don't get a percentage of firm profits.

$50,000 grand for a murder defense that proceeds to trial is 99 cents store level bargain. That's not a pay-day or a shakedown and is pretty terrible pay considering this case would consume a good portion of a solo practitioner's practice for the better part of a year.

Precinct rat is the criminal attorney version of an ambulance chaser. Ambulance chasing, or hospital rat, is the m.o. of the the civil plaintiff's attorney.

I also love that he gives the whole speech about payment not being based on outcome, and yet, his card says "no fee until you're free!"

I'm also big on representation, and as a half-man and half-horse, I finally feel vindicated by this show.

Kip is the best. "I'm a comparative literature major, yeah, I want to be a writer. I'm actually working on a screenplay right now. It's about vampires, ostensibly, but really it's a bout the reunification of Germany…But it's funny!"

Totally forgot about Orange County. Great choice. The Stanford party with Kip was comedic genius.

I fucking love that movie. That is peak Schwartzman and so quotable.

Agreed. The themes of Apatow's main films are about romantic relationships and maturity.

The first 15 or so minutes of Old School (through the wedding scene) is probably the best 15 minutes of any comedy on the list.

Super Troopers.

Even with the biased perspective, I think he's guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

That picture of Adnan immediately put the following into my head:

The serial killer with a similar MO is like one step better of a defense than it was "some black guy."

"The Prosecution team was actually quite pleased that there were a pretty good number of people on the jury who were fair, intelligent and articulate."
