I'm not excusing his behavior or who he is as a human being. But he is an excellent rapper and producer. Terrible lyricist - come on…But, I suppose "swimming pool full of liquor and I dive in" is Shakespearian?

Is Kanye going through a manic episode or is he feigning one to hype and market his new album? He's one of few people who is very hard to read if he is being open with his true self or if he is manipulating the narrative.

Most artists and musicians are raging, self-absorbed assholes who suffer from delusions of grandeur. Kanye doesn't try to hide it.

It scares me that this feels like Ballers, but the 1970s New York music scene instead of the modern-day NFL.

It is scary that Louie Anderson looks exactly like most older adult white women in Bakersfield, and for that matter, most of white working class middle American women. I don't even have to suspend my disbelief.

It all started that night. A sad and tragic collapse. Poor Knicks.

That's fair, but I think you also recognize in your recap that this is something that is very personal to you at this time and that your parents are relocating for middle class reasons.

"The problem is that it felt wrong to jump from Fiona’s last moments in the house to the rest of those stories."

But Stevie Wonder can see, so of course he saw it.

Saying someone used the issue of race relations as a defense versus saying "they played the race card" is the distinction. It's the same thing, it's just the way you are phrasing it. When you say someone plays the "race card" - it sounds like you think there's not merit to racial strife or oppression in this country.

Just a suggestion - you should probably refrain from using the term "race card" if you don't want to come across as an unrepentant bigot. True -OJ's defense team used the backdrop of pervasive and extreme mistreatment of African-Americans by the police (and specifically the LAPD) as support for OJ being framed. I

He got away with it because it's really difficult to put someone away for murder without a confession and/or eyewitness, particularly when forensic evidence wasn't nearly as sophisticated or well-understood by the general public as it is now.

There's a pretty good African American actor that was in Naked Gun that would have been PERFECT, but I think he's unavailable.

"Put it down, OJ, don't do it! Do you want your kids to grow up without a father? Think about it! Do you want your daughter knowingly putting out a sex-tape with an F-list rapper who people only know because of his sister? Really, do you?! Do you want your son gaining 200 pounds and locking himself in a condo for 5

If the neighborhood is already gentrifying, how the hell would that 4 bedroom house go for auction at $60,000 and ultimately sell for $130,000? Chicago real estate isn't as high as in L.A., but you couldn't buy the shittiest single-family home in Watts (which is nowhere near gentrification) for less than the mid 250s…

Can a singular person be diverse? If a person is not white, that in and of itself doesn't make him or her diverse. If a cast of a TV show include a white guy, two black guys and an Indian woman - that can be considered a "diverse" cast, but interesting word choice.

Yikes, Shameless is going full latter seasons Showtime.

Disappointed in how it seems things are set up for this season, but impressed that the writers worked in Fiona topless within about 12 seconds.

I don't know how interested I am in a show that's like Gossip Girl without the gossip or the girls or like Entourage without the entourage.
