Good description, I like the idea and hope to see it.
It's Spade doing his —usually awkward and understated, look I can't act— take on MacLaine's "give my daughter the shot" bit? That sounds pretty fantastic. I'm going to have to hunt this down.
Terms of Endearment is a tear forming factory. It's engineered for it. Always inopportune, bcs it's Terms of Endearment.
The mountain goat who takes care of that golden eagle problem is going to be mayor for a very long time. Longer than Kurt Warner's tenure, even.
"Pushing the limits of comedy" with Cake Boss? First, what an entirely preposterous thing to assert. And second, the statement's irony seems to be lost on the writer.

GG Woody Allin takes the mic against a backdrop of cornrows:

GG Woody Allin: "Doctor, help, my brother's crazy. He thinks he's the easter bunny."
Psychiatrist: "Well, why don't you have him put away?"
GG Woody Allin: "I would, but I need the chocolate eggs."
I interpreted it as unrestrained narcissism but ADD captures the scene well too.
