No, he was the guy on trial.
No, he was the guy on trial.
It's definitely in the so bad it's good territory, but occasionally becomes so good it's great as the writers are clearly well aware of how ridiculously daft the whole thing is. Unfortunately it does occasionally get a bit too soapy or silly, but at it's best it's a really enjoyable show.
That's a common misconception, there were in fact the first twelve Doctors.
I only know one person who bought one too but it was intentional and boy did they rave about it for the first week. Now when it's mentioned anger ensues.
I saw and enjoyed Lynch's Hotel Room when it first aired but I watched it again recently and it really hasn't aged well. Here's something I wrote on another forum that was largely ignored, like this will probably be as I'm posting it so late!
I'd disagree, I'm not a big fan of Cooper's elsewhere but I thought he was one of the highlights of the last series.
I agree with everything there, and if anyone sucks it's Mark, they really make a mess of his storyline this year.
That's right on the Zoo front, and I recommend checking out this season asap as they've really embraced the batshit crazyness of the concept and it's been a great deal of fun.
I went to a convention a couple of years back and no one wanted to talk to Norman Lovett, which shocked and appalled. Then I talked to him and he was extremely grumpy and I began to realise why. That said I saw him perform stand up another time and chatted to him afterwards and he was lovely so maybe he was having an…
I love Windom Earle and think Kenneth Welsh put in an amazing performance, but I do agree with you about Warner being wasted, I do like him in the role but he deserved a much much bigger one.
It's season 12 for me, filled with classics it's easily the show at it's best.
Give me a crossover with Legion and I will watch it. Otherwise I'm sorry, but I shall not.
That's how I felt about it too. And some of the dialogue shows that they know how ridiculous it all is and are just having fun with the insanity of it all (like Jamie with the brainsaw last week), and it's become a hugely enjoyable show.
Don't worry The Walking Dead fans, starting a month after the end of the series Kirkman will release the first issue of Fear The Walking Dead.
Quite. Even though people only ask Colin Baker to sign books with the words "Yes, I am the worst Doctor" he still makes a shed load.
I agree and I'm finding it really problematic as well. They just made him too much of an arsehole in this episode and it's made me struggle a lot with the show.
Yep, I'm 100% with you, I like the show when it's fast paced and playing with a lot of ideas but when it starts to take itself too seriously it all falls apart.
That's the problem I have, despite everything I think we're still supposed to like Jesse a certain extent (as was the case in the comics) but here he's all too often a pious prick who becomes violent at the drop of a hat. Again, if we were supposed to dislike him it would all make sense, but I really don't think…
Ah, I missed that somehow.
So I'm confused, how does Alexis Denisof tie in to all of this? Or does he not at all?
