I think he's an awful Scotty. Way too energetic and nervous when the original Scotty was far more laconic and dry witted (bar the scenes where he had to save the enterprise from exploding at least). I did actually like Star Trek Beyond and appreciated Pegg's writing ability, but I wish he wasn't acting in the series

Sigh. I just need to get this out of my system.

It's okay, hearing the words Ted Mosby has exactly the same effect upon me. Though what you said about your plans for his intestines was a bit much, admittedly.

I keep on nervously looking at the clock during the final third as I don't want it to end either! But I'm glad it's aired weekly, if it had been on netflix I think I'd have binged it all in one day and this way I get to look forward to a new episode each Sunday.

Oh I'm not knocking his previous work at all, but it seems clear that he wants to work, but the projects he's getting look awful.

But we've also had The Hobbit trilogy, which despite their quality made an enormous amount of money and kept the LotR brand incredibly well known.

And Chevy Chase is…hey, what he is up to these days? *checks imdb* Jesus. I was planning to write something pithy here but it's actually quite bleak.

This year has probably been the best in about a decade when it comes to shows I like being renewed despite being on the bubble. Especially when compared to last year's bloodbath, and the only show I'm still concerned about is Trial and Error.

It's true! Now I'm going to start moaning again about that Jon Glaser interview which was never published, and surely nobody wants that! ;)

Because the site doesn't seem to care about reporting pop culture news anymore - Brooklyn Nine-Nine has just been renewed, and Jon Glaser Loves Gear is getting a second season too, which pleases me immensely as the first was a wildly underrated gem.

Ha, that's what immediately sprang in to my mind. And now I'm going to be eternally miserable that there isn't a dog version of It Follows in the making.

I watched Me Doing Standup for the first time this week and have mixed feelings. I really enjoyed the first half but the second part was a bit disappointing, the material about being raped in prison felt especially lazy and the sort of thing I've seen too many comedians cover.

I enjoyed T&E a fair bit but if I had to choose I'd go for Great News, I think it has more potential to develop in to a really funny show.

Son of Zorn frustrated me a great deal, and Johnny Pemberton creeped me out pretending to be a teenager at his age, but for some reason I'm quite sad it's been cancelled. The last few episodes were actually pretty strong and it had the potential to become a really good show.

Ah, the curse of Natalie Morales strikes again. Which sucks as I bloody love her and want her to be ridiculously popular.

How do they know the audience was loyal? I bet half of them were cheating with other shows the minute it turned it's back.

But I'd prepared so many!

No, as evil as The Master is, he's not that evil.

I like to think that in the Who-universe The Doctor found out that the editors of The Sun were aliens deliberately trying to bring misery to the planet, and when he defeated them the paper was never published again.

If the film doesn't have 'Mazing Man in it then I'm not watching it!
