I agree with both of your posts and think the article is ridiculously harsh on Molina's performance, which really humanised the man and showed both his strengths and his weaknesses.

It really is a shock, and such a young age to go at. I'm 42 now and more and more aware of people my age having strokes or heart attacks, it's not exactly a regular occurrence but still happens worryingly often. Especially given that I smoke and am currently overweight, but I am trying to change both of these things.
Sorry for such a late reply but I've been in a very similar place to you, the final few months of university took me to my breaking point, and was a miserable time. But prescription medication saved me, I know it varies from person to person but rather than change me it made me feel like my old self again, and I…
I was hoping there'd be a throwaway reference to her having joined the gang and then died but alas it wasn't to be.
I'd have agreed with you last week but this episode was a real return to form for me.
It's strange, I love Alasdair's Doctor Who reviews but strongly dislike his Class ones, I don't know what to think! I really wanted to like Class as well, but too many of the characters are ridiculously irritating, and too many of the episodes were far too slow, there's a bottle episode coming up that I almost…
I thought Paterson did a great job, and I'm not his biggest fan, he's fine in the early seasons of Peep Show but other than that I've never been that impressed. But Capaldi's great in everything he does, you should know that! ;)
I get where you're coming from and would like to see that too, but I've an odd fondness for the BBC effort. Even at the time the effects were clearly pretty poor, but most of the actors were on top form, especially Peter Capaldi and Paterson Joseph.
Death Couch: The Couch That Eats
It was a very different series but I really enjoyed Death Valley, and was gutted when MTV cancelled that. Oh, and there's also Wonder Showzen, but as adultswim pretty much let PFFR do what they want I can't complain too much.
True, but a lot of actors aren't that thoughtful or considerate. *Glares at Michael J Anderson*
Have you seen the BBC3 show Pls Like? It's a five part series with Tim Key and Liam Williams and is a superb satire of the whole Youtube Personality thing - https://www.youtube.com/wat…
What's your take on United States of Tara out of interest? After a shaky start I thought it developed in to a pretty great series, and is easily the best representation of DID that I've seen on television so far.
Twist prediction: When McAvoy and Mac start dating we learn it's also set in the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia universe. Meanwhile Dennis is thrilled to meet someone who looks exactly like Bruce Willis, whilst Charlie, Dee and Frank make a big mistake when they try and sell Charlie's art to Mr Glass.
That's how I feel, there's some strong jokes and the cast are appealing but it often feels a bit predictable. Which'll no doubt mean we'll get at least nine seasons of it!
**** me that's horrible but it did make me laugh a huge amount!
That Best Wishes series looks great, it's about time someone gave Conan O'Brien his own comic.
The way the media treated Diana was absurdly ridiculous, first as the perfect princess, then later as unstable and unreliable person dating a 'foreigner', until her death transformed her to an angelic figure. Until about ten years after her death, when certain tabloids ran stories about the state of her mental health…
Mary Steenburgen is pretty much the only thing keeping me watching this show right now.
I know it's a horrible thing to say but I have never, ever wanted to see a fictional character repeatedly punched in the face more than I did with Tandy in this episode, and I loudly groaned when Todd didn't even hit him once.
