I'd like to think you're right but her book had been completed, and wasn't missing the final 20 pages like everyone else's, so I'm not optimistic.

I see where you're coming from but at the same time if it was Stanhope I'd have thought it might be confirmed by the victim, and it was very bizarre that as a result his career hasn't suffered.
A lot of people at the time commented that they felt Stanhope was covering for whoever it actually was. I have no idea, however, but it's a horrible shame that whoever it was was never found accountable.
Not stolen the music of others and passed it off as your own?
I won something? Yay!
I'm not willing to take that risk!
And then followed by Irreversible. After the horrendous rape scene the film actually becomes a celebration of life, but christ, I couldn't put myself through the whole film again just to get to that part.
Ah, I just know quite a lot of people in real life who really like it, and that criticising Del Toro is a no no. Maybe it's a british thing, or maybe I just need to change my circle of friends!
I hope I'm wrong but I feel you're being optimistic about All Out War being wrapped up by the mid-season point, knowing this show they'll drag it out for at least a year.
So a spin-off from a series which is celebrated for the way it explores black culture is going to feature two white males? Ah, that's depressing. And I know the article also mentions the casting of Trevor Jackson, but that's not how the show is currently being promoted…
I know this will probably get me a lot of flack and I don't mean to offend, but I thought that Pacific Rim was a pretty weak film. Visually it's often stunning, but the plot is fairly bland and the script quite poor in places, so I've no issue with another director taking a shot at the concept.
Thanks for the heads up about Taskmaster returning, it's a great little show and one that deserves a bigger audience than it gets.
I was referring to Chibnall. And whilst I'd be more forgiving with other shows, Doctor Who has had so much time inbetween seasons that there's no reason why better, if slightly slower, writers haven't been used more often.
It wasn't just one Torchwood episode though, he was the showrunner and a lot of it was terrible, there's some decent episodes but the show didn't find it's feet until Russell T.Davies stepped in for the third season.
I thought the first season of Broadchurch was superb but the second was hugely disappointing, and the third has been patchy to say the least - though that said the most recent episode was very strong.
The joys of time travel apparently, I can't remember the exact quote but it said that Gomez and Simm would be onscreen together. Edit: Ah,
here's what Moffat said on the BBC website: "Nothing stays secret for long on Doctor Who but you'll have to wait a little bit longer to see exactly what the Master is up to and how…
It has made me a lot more optimistic about this new series. Simm has previously said he wanted another shot at the Master as he wasn't 100% happy with his previous efforts, so it's nice to hear he's going to get it.
In other news yet to be reported, there's been a major casting announcement for the new series of Doctor Who. I was trying to remain spoiler free this year but someone on facebook spoilt it for me, so for those who don't care about such things - John Simm is returning in an episode which will feature both him and…
Watchmen was the first film I saw at an Imax cinema, and in one shot Manhattan's penis must have been at least ten foot long, if not more. And it was beautiful. Just a fucking beautiful penis.
And yet they refuse to try another tv adaptation of Locke and Key. And I can't work out a pun involving "Joe King". Sorry, it's probably obvious but it's been a very long day.
