Prison Pen Pals still count as serious relationships I'll have you know!

Lordy, I thought the AV Club comments section was better than this.

Likewise. I adored Holy Motors and can't wait to see what he offers us next.

It's very much a superhero show, but of the kind of comics that we rarely see on tv. Hopefully it'll change that and we'll soon get adaptations of Morrison's Animal Man, or Doom Patrol, as both could match Legion's greatness if carefully made.

Also on in the UK: Broadchurch S03E03 - The last two episodes have almost made up for the shoddiness of season 2 and I'm quietly optimistic they'll pull off a satisfying final season. Only quietly though, as this is Chibnall and his work is shockingly patchy at times.

I started with season 3 as someone else gave me similar advice, then watched up to the end of season 7. Now I'm watching seasons 1 & 2, before jumping back to S8. Which I'm very aware is a strange way to watch a show (it's driving my girlfriend mad as she either begins at the beginning or not at all!) but it's worked

I've heard that (a friend couldn't help mention the episode with all the swearing in!) and can't wait to get to that point. And yeah, it really is impressive how they've managed to maintain the quality, and indeed improve upon it, after all these years.

I'm bed bound and recovering from a knee operation right now, so have a ridiculous amount of time on my hands. Hence:

I think you just need to see more of season 2. Most fans admit that the first season of Buffy is very patchy, I gave up on the show during those episodes and only returned because a housemate watched it incessantly, but it really kicks up a gear during the second season. Then it very quickly improves, and season 3

It varies for me, if it's a show which is really impressing me (like Legion is right now) I enjoy watching it once a week, and discussing it with friends in the meantime. But if it's something quite good but nothing that special (Sneaky Pete springs to mind) then binging can be a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Yeah I guess you're right. I just hate upper class types and their often distant style of parenting (I live in a shitty bedsit in a nice part of London that's full of rich parents treating their children like prince's whilst the kid is battering some old lady with his skateboard), but I've no right to suggest that

I still watch the series but it's a ridiculously unpredictable beast, whilst certain episodes can be very funny others can be painful to watch (though as O'Neill mentions above, still contain one or two decent gags). It's always had a mean streak but sometimes they go too far with it, and I have to confess that this

I'm trying to be vaguely sympathetic towards him, perhaps it was a big moment for him, I don't know how often he's appeared on tv before and how doing so will effect his career, so maybe he kind of closed down when it began to go wrong. All the same time I can't help but feel for the kids and something definitely irks

It might be funny but it still unsettled me. I mean it's obviously not child abuse, but given he didn't react I can imagine brushing the children out of the way isn't an exactly uncommon event. Still, it's not like he just forgot some of the kids in the pub so I guess he's not as bad as some of our other beloved upper

What, that a supposed ninth series exists? Yeah, yeah very funny, heard that one a million times.

And A Streetcat Named Bob!*

I've done more than pretend, I've had hypno-therapy.

Hmmm, I'm not so sure about that, I think she's just playing Quentin by appearing to be more humanized, but once she has control of his body / is able to escape it she'll do some crazy messed up stuff.

I really loved him when he first started out, his 90's Channel Four series is silly and ridiculous but it somehow works. And Tv Burp started off well but by the time it ended it was running on fumes and everything since has been a bit bland / sometimes slightly annoying.

They really need to warn us when they do things like this, I'm a 42 year old man, I'm not ready for random format changes!
