It always surprises me how popular Michael Jackson still is, despite all the rumours. Back in 2009 I went to the Edinburgh Festival and saw the British comedian Frank Skinner host a mixed bill, and at one point in between acts he got me up on stage to take part in a short quiz. One of the questions was "What was

You jest but she has her own special rules (more money to start off with, ability to buy property straight from the get go and many others) which meant games often lasted four or five hours. To cope I developed a severe weed dependency during those days that I still have to this day!

Thanks for that and I'm sure you're right and that they won't care, plus I imagine that a lot of people with my condition (osteoarthritis) smoke too so it won't come as much of a shock.

It's weird, a couple of years ago I became friends with this Australian woman called Melanie who told me tales of how her father was in the mob over there and all of the antics she got up to when she lived with him as a kid. Along with moving to the UK as it became too dangerous for her to be in Australia. I always

You are a lucky, lucky man. My Sister's a monopoly obsessive and I've played countless games with her. Mainly when I broke my leg and was bed bound for six months. Still not quite sure how I retained my sanity to be honest.

Thanks for that!

That's a superb piece of writing and fascinating stuff as I knew nothing about Generations as it took place just as I went to university and couldn't afford comics anymore. Have you ever considered hosting such articles on a blog, as I'd definitely read it and recommend it to friends. And enemies too, I'm nice like

I think the simple answer is to have Leia convert to islam, then she could wear a hijab throughout the film and be played by any actress. Or even a man, the choices are endless! And I know how dodgy this post sounds but I'm serious, and it might make all of the extremely religious islamic types realise that the west

I like to think that they filmed it deliberately like that so it wouldn't seem to much of a shock / too real. Of course if she dies (which I don't think will happen) that theory won't make any sense at all.

I adore the show so much and will be overjoyed if it gets a second season, I just wish more people I know were watching it in real life.

For a lot of actors I'd have downvoted that, but I'm pretty sure Carrie would love it if they did do it!

The cameramen really were shockingly pervy in that first season, it's why I loved show so much. Ahem. But even I bailed at the end of season 3, though that was partially due to it being the time I found out what an idiot Adam Baldwin is. Sigh. And I used to love him so much too.

But the AV Club didn't tell us to watch it! Now I don't know what to do!

Likewise. The rest of the article seems pretty spot on but I think Santa Clarita Diet will be a big hit.

No mention of Jon Glaser Loves Gear despite it being a) the season finale, and b) one of the best shows of the year? Damnit AV Club, you've made me a very, very sad man. Which I may have been before, but that's not the point.

Thanks for these recaps, I really enjoy reading them and wish the site was covering the show again, given how inventive it's been of late it really deserves to be reviewed again.

I couldn't agree with you more Yumzux, and it was easily in my top five films of the year.

To my eternal shame I've never seen him in anything, but he made for a great interviewee.

I've only watched the first four episodes so far but I'm enjoying it a lot, the plot has developed in ways I didn't expect at all and whilst it may not be the funniest show ever, it is really likeable.

That's my theory as well, I mean there's no way they're going to kill off the whole cast.
