Likewise. I paused that shot to see who else had a book and the only ones which aren't cast and crew was "Pat O'Brien", which I like to think was a tribute to the great man.

I've been refreshing Ain't It Cool News all day as I can't wait to see Harry Knowles claim it's the best movie ever made. It's a strange need, admittedly, but his badly written prose never fails to amaze me.
It was shown on Sky Living, but unfortunately I can't afford to subscribe to that.
Likewise. I'm based in the UK and know many people who loved this but watched it via torrents due to it not being aired on any of the freeview channels.
I'd forgotten all about it until now but I do remember it being a huge amount of fun, and that I was really disappointed when it was cancelled so quickly.
Ah, my mistake.
Gaiman's been fascinated with Browning since 2004? When she turned 16? Hmmmm, I didn't need to know that…
I've yet to see it but Control got pretty positive reviews when it came out. Which bodes well for this, too.
Yeah, the line "Imagine James Corden watching me, like a dog listening to classical music" did make me laugh a huge amount.
I'm not a big fan of Kane or Howard, but there are an oddly large amount of Russell's out there on the circuit, so I'm not sure who it might've been.
Concerning Jimmy Carr, I'd just like to say that please don't take this as a representation of the best of British stand up, indeed most people I know feel his material is pretty tired and annoying these days (despite the man reputedly being lovely in real life).
Being based in the UK the whole R rating thing has always seemed so confusing to me. I love the fact that we have 15 / 18 ratings so that you can see films without the annoyance of young children / teens screaming and shouting.
I'm surprised by the disdain for Highlander, the first film is an enormously entertaining big dumb action flick. Plus Christopher Lambert has appeared in some acclaimed arthouse stuff over the last few years, and redeemed his career a little, so I'm surprised he was judged so harshly too.
I know a programmer who's worked in the gaming industry since 2002, and done fairly well out of it, but very few of the projects he's been involved with have seen the light of day, which frustrates him incredibly.
We all dream of Enlightened coming back, but it's sadly unlikely to ever happen.
I don't like the sound of this Ben fella at all. In fact he may be my least favourite Ben ever.
Yeah, I hate to say it but feel you're right. I was a late comer to the show and binge watched it over the last couple of weeks, and I absolutely freaking love it, but given the ratings it'd be amazing if ABC were to renew it. I still live in hope, but it's diminishing by the day with news like this…
That's what I was thinking. I know United States Of Tara wasn't the most popular of series (though I loved it personally) but Brie was superb in it. Especially during the webcam era. Ahem.
Yeah, that whole sequence was beautifully staged and had me laughing hard.
I thought last season was really strong as well, after a patchy fifth, indeed these last two years have taken it from being a show I like to one I love.
