Jason Ringenberg has been recording pretty consistently over the years — he's never lost that great voice — and the new Scorchers album has some great tunes on it.

The Bootleg Live Versions of Driver 8 & Old Man Kensey
So, in the summer of 1984 — at the outset of the Reckoning tour — , R.E.M. came to Fresno, and we got to interview them for my college radio station. However, because we were the college station, we had to go down to the club where they were playing and tape an

I won't laugh, Lobsters, because it's nearly half of mine, too.

Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way?
That was a total gateway song for me. When I was 19, a friend of mine from high school had moved into a house with a bunch of other girls, and all they had for music were a few country 8-tracks.

Golden Filth
I don't know who it was, but when I was in high school, someone got ahold of the Fugs live album, Golden Filth. Wait a second, Todd. I didn't remember the character ever returning, so I IMDB'd the episode prior to my original post.

I wish the USA World Cup team would have called "Red 42" a bit more often.

Good gods, anybody who complains about the length of any of these recaps shouldn't be reading them in the first place!

Oh well, at least we have 20 endlessly watchable episodes to annoy people with until the end of time.

That was easily the best thing I'll see all day.

Bollocks. Jeepers Creepers was amazing. For all of the reasons that @Jorge said, as well as a straight parody of all of those early 70s "Jesus is groovy" films.

I was much older than 10 when that sequence initially aired, and it's STILL one of my favorite Simpsons site gags.

Let me join in on the kudos for 1776. And point out that it's amazing that a bordering-on-cheesy patriotic musical is getting so much love here. I'm guessing that it's 1) the great songs, 2) the fine acting performances and 3) the portrait of the Founding Fathers as regular guys instead of demigods.
