Hi folks. Just stopping by to say that my T.I. Wednesday posting is over for now. Sadly, Disqus is now blocked at work. I'll still read through the comments when I get home, and maybe type up and finagle a posting of my idiot coworker's shenanigans when they are particularly awful, but otherwise, farewell.

Regarding the lettuce, how hot is it there? Lettuce apparently loves cool weather and abhors the heat. Once I pick my lettuce, watermelons and peppers are taking the lettuce's spot in the pool.

Yeah, the strawberries and lettuce are thriving. Unfortunately, either one of the dogs (forget that, I know who did it…Otter!!) or the wind blew over the pot the raspberry bush was in and broke off a couple of branches.  Once I do start pulling in the berries, I still need to figure out what I am going to do with

For added difficulty points, use the open mouth of a plastic soda bottle.

Apparently, there was visible evidence on and in the kid's swim suit.

I am pleased to say my garden in a kiddie pool survived the weather swinging from the mid 60s to snowing the next weekend after I planted. My only loss was a cucumber plant.

A good friend of mine has always called them that, so I also adopted it. I find not many people know it, either.

When I was in late high school/early college, I had plenty of friends who took roofies themselves. Intentionally.  I can admit taking one myself once, and literally not remembering anything that happened, and I lost my shirt and one shoe at a bar.  Worse than that, a friend took a couple and in the span of the night,

Eh, if it is a classic, it doesn't matter if some one's dad has the same watch. I lost a few watches in a row, so I haven't bought an expensive one in years.  Here is my current one: http://www.amazon.com/Timex…

Yeah, Hat, that one.

A coworker of mine went to see the Billy Crystal, sassy grandparents movie over Christmas holidays, loved it so much, he gathered more people and saw it again. These people certainly exist.

My sister taught swimming lessons at a local college when she was in high school, and one of the little girl students shit in the pool. When something disturbing was noticed swirling around the bottom a cry went out. One of the hopeful/optimistic instructors said it surely had to be a leaf. A helpful little boy, eager

Ha, I was wondering what this notification was for. Yeah, I read where Simon said it would be a rip off for the consumer to attempt to transfer the Wire to BD due to how it was shot. Look at me, 3 years ago. So young.

And also, I did not mean to leech off your thread. I just didn't want to start a big bummer of a thread on my own. I am really sorry for your friend and you. Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst and I have seen what it does firsthand. Just let me take this opportunity to give a big ol' Fuck You! to cancer.

I can't say that I can advise you as much as empathize.  I just received a phone call from my dad telling me my 12 year old nephew is out of surgery after taking a biopsy of the mass they found in his arm. Yesterday, out of the blue, I get a call from my family saying that they think he has bone cancer. He is the only

I just checked again, and nope, there is no comcast choice when you try to add HBO Go to Roku. I looked on comcast forums, and people were bitching about it last week. And yeah, comcast is fucking stupid.

Boy, you saw right through me. Is my face red?!?

Thanks for the advice. Regarding Barcelona, I've read that October is the off season for not as many tourists.
@avclub-55ab1e0836b46cc575ee502254e68ea9:disqus  - My fiancee has been to Florence and we want to go somewhere neither of us has been.

If you have comcast, HBOGo doesn't work on Roku.
