How many people do you suppose have already started writing fanfics about the evil study group invading the prime universe?

>"Deep down, we’re hoping we’ll find someone or something that never lets
us down"

I just can't figure out why they'd put a Pokémon in this movie. Way to destroy all suspension of disbelief.

I think it was acknowledged by showing Stan as cheerful, but complaining about Cartman's constant irritability. It's more implied than anything.

Purloined.

You can't sue for plagiarism. Just copyright infringement. Plagiarism isn't illegal.

Regarding everyone going along with Cartman's scheme, remember that Kyle and Cartman appeared to have started getting along at the end of "You're Getting Old". At the start of "Ass Burgers" they could be seen as the sort of friends who don't always get along but are still friends, hence the lighthearted "Jew/fatass"

Sazae-san recycles stories every decade or so. Not the same way as The Simpsons recycles plots— I mean they just re-adapt the same stories from the manga over and over. It seems kind of pointless, but it's consistently Japan's highest rated anime, so…

I'd forgotten the word "indigent" and was able to immediately infer its meaning from the context. Thanks, Sean!

I don't get it, but it had the cadence of a joke.

I tried to remember Homer's "Thank you for correcting me, Lisa" line, but I couldn't remember it adequately enough to search the exact quote. So I just used the edit button.

He probably thinks it's canon.

He was given the chance to get something on network TV and probably a proportionally higher budget than he's ever had. Liking the show is irrelevant.

I think the John K couch gag I think is funniest when watched while imagining all the people who aren't familiar with him or his style trying to figure out what they were watching.

That would mean he failed.

Well, if he really cared about the artistic integrity of his show, he would have pushed for that abortion.
