It's the perfect encapsulation of the show and the relationships. That whole bit was amazing.

I think he's a smart man who is used to having his money solve every problem that comes his way. For me, it wasn't that hard to believe that he would think he could fix biology with cold hard cash.

I have a feeling the curve ball is going to be that Amber is now the possessed one.

He's been around since the days of Peter Gregory. He was the guy that went and bought 1 of everything at Burger King.

My thoughts exactly. I had read that Jezebel article previously and was interested to see how AV Club would talk about Lara Schoenhal. Disappointed to see that she wasn't mentioned as that's kind of the big controversy on the whole deal.

Thank you for this. I got really confused reading that in the review and was starting to question my whole life until you confirmed what I was thinking. :)

Good catch! I totally didn't recognize the counselor guy.

I didn't read Alicia asking Alvey where he was sleeping as checking to make sure sex wasn't expected. I'm with you, I think they're going to sleep together. She's been feeling him out almost since she showed up.

You're not crazy. And with all the venues here, it's unbelievable.

Critical thinking isn't his strong suit, that's for sure.

Great comment. I personally do think it's a groundbreaking show, in that it's totally unique. It's taking us into a world that hasn't been explored on television before. If that's not groundbreaking, then I don't know what is.

Yes! I feel like there's a lot more we could be exploring in this show than just a play-by-play.

I agree completely. They manage to make these characters so well rounded, and I can't help but care about all of them. Even the ones I don't particularly like, I feel so invested in their stories. I think it's a great show.

Yours is probably the best, most insightful comment I've ever read.

I get where you're coming from, but I read it more as "look at this rape scene through the eyes of a disoriented drugged person (who it's happening to)" kind of way. But again, I can totally see what you're saying.

Yup, he was very much at fault.
And I too am concerned about Nate. I hope he'll talk to Jay, but like the reviewer said, I doubt he will.

Same. I'm trying to comment on other people's comments just to get the comment count up without really caring about what they said!

The aftermath of the Nate rape scene was heartbreaking to watch. Let no one say Nick Jonas can't act. He looked practically grief stricken, and confused, and lost. He killed it.

Luckily for all of us, it's already renewed for Season 3!

Really good episode. It will be interesting to see how the drama and negative feelings grow between Jay and Ryan as the fight gets closer. I'm hoping it's nothing they can't come back from.
Super mad at Ryan for punching Mac!
I'm having a hard time rooting for Alicia, so I hope they can show some depth in her character
