I haven't listened to her singing in quite some time. I recall not hating it, but still finding her songs to be quite boring and uninteresting.

Would it be possible for us to also stop suggesting she's talented?

Honorary degrees are stupid, I think. Whatever, the school can do whatever they want but it can make people feel as though their degree which they've worked hard for is cheapened and disingenuous. When a director I flipping hate was given an honorary degree by my school I know I felt as though my education didn't

To be fair, he's not wrong. He definitely shouldn't have said it considering his job (maybe soon to be former job …), but I just can't stand any of those shows he mentioned. I like Conan but sometimes it's kinda dumb. Still prefer him.

Totally agree.

Wilmore wasn't always awful, but his show's awful.

The dead horse beating was tied to Wilmore, not Oliver. Oliver can do
whatever he wants at the end of a week and he's still fucking fresh.

Is he? I really wanted to like his show, but his delivery is so very stilted … He simply can't carry a segment. For example, someone says something "controversial" on his show and he tries to segue from it with a chuckle, then there's a couple seconds of awkward silence, then he asks something in a tone which tries to

Errr … will not watch. I honestly haven't enjoyed any of his stuff. However, I would support taking The Nightly Show from Larry Wilmore and giving it to Noah. He could bring some actual life to that show, I think, even though I still don't think he could successfully take over The Daily Show.

That one didn't leave a lasting impression on me. I didn't think it was bad, but I think I liked the story "Survivor Type" a lot more.

I always wanted to see this and Bag of Bones made into movies. And then they made Bag of Bones into a tv miniseries. And it was unbearable. Or, the first half was, don't know about the rest.

In other news, Disney is putting out another movie I won't be watching.

Wait, what? I watched this and thought "Wow, they don't know how to write for that princess character at all." None of what she did made practically any sense. The base elements of her actions, sure, but she didn't get lead there by any actual motivation. I'll admit, I liked the story well enough to the tone of, oh,

Don't care. Most aren't getting paid enough to sit through a berating. If you enjoy being yelled at for a pittance, go ahead. I'm most certainly in a different field now, but that's beside the point. If you think people should give their all for a menial job, go ahead. I'm not of that opinion.

I'm actually not joking. Some people really do deserve to be insulted. Not all of them and not all the time, but if you're going to be a dick to someone who's trying to help you then they fully deserve the right to be a dick back.

Has anyone considered that, y'know … maybe she is a bitch? I mean, it's an older woman who thinks that there's something wrong with her cable because a channel got switched around … so she's probably really curt and yell-y in the first place …

In this regard, if someone needs to feel important to a celebrity, Lucky Yates is the man to follow. He'll see your name at least once. He'll probably even say it a few times, eventually.

I had totally forgotten this episode and, therefore, all of the brilliant quotes, including the following:

JDubyaB made Abe great.

Who in the hell thought it would be a good idea for that knob who ruined Abraham Lincoln to ruin Beetlejuice …?
