I agree with you on alot of those things but you forget it's also a narrative crutch just incase they fuck up a storyline and later have to undo alot. So its easier to say "Kane was hallucinating EVERYTHIINGG *spooky ghost voice*".
Or if they fuck up this season, Kane is still on the ground having a seizure.
