That's not a novel approach for AV Club.  Remember the Lana Del Rey "review" where they talked about her image for several paragraphs and the only song that was mentioned was the single that had been out for months?

3-D was the way to see that film.  With the textures and lighting, you really feel almost as though you're there in the cave.  I wouldn't recommend anyone watch it on DVD unless they're really interested in cavemen.

As posted at the paragon of intellectual maturity that is The Onion AV Club alongside articles about a guy that does the voices for cartoons and a man dressed as a banana.

He should've quoted St. Paul instead - "When
I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought
as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."In other words, it's not just immature to watch The Avengers.  It's sinful.

I'm glad this review is here.  Maybe more people will discover her and she'll start to get the success she deserves.

The last Hate Annual was fantastic, politically the little political cartoons in the back.  The Second Life book he did awhile ago was several years too late, though.

I'd be curious what any old-school straightedge kids thought about Pailhead when it came out, which teamed Ian MacKaye with heavy drug user Al Jourgensen.

Yeah, they're really Manic-Depressive Pixie Dream Girls, but they don't like to put that part in movies.

He's right about Blazing Saddles.  The movie's funnier before they demolish the fourth wall.

Do you count Nine Inch Nails as "rock"?
