*spoiler alert*

I never watched it as it never took in France as a kid story so it's just unknown except for Tim Burton's remake coz it's Tim Burton; but when that came out I had already lived in the US for a few years, enough to indeed see many reruns or just people at one point talking about it so I knew it existed but as a grown

I wish Kristen Schaal's Louise would have said "the hall manatee? and she's so beautiful" ;)

…in THIS economy?

Looking at the current season, it's maybe a tad under last season's, but it's probably because of no-less than three holiday episodes that were a bit better last season's. Still more than a dozen episode to go!

I kept hoping for Michael C. Hall. But no, sadly.

like they did with Le Carré or Jaws; that's where they're much better than most shows when they try to do parodies (even Futurama's Titanic was meh, and I love Futurama).

One upvote for French, Core…

no "carpe museum"! best episode of the series too…

is it the first time we see the school's receptionist? she was fun!

I need to ask people a question: how common is that hall monitor thing in the US? As a Frenchman, this does not exist at all in France. And I lived in the US for four years (all of high school) and my high school did not use it either. Even though it was already told in the "Frond Files" that Tina was a hall monitor,

Omicronians are like, golden. Totally worth the episode, even if gobblers are the best ep ever with them, no?

In order to compare, I have dear an episode that was also my first (the three suns), but I do love "Mars University", for unrational reasons as well. I loved your story from not only when you first saw that ep. but how as well. As for me, I myself am working in Academia and university, just got a PhD and therefore,

that's what I use from France too!

oh yeah that one and the one with the frat house I just keep forget they exist!

I think Bob loves Louise but his connection to Tina is definitely stronger, like he's really trying to get her (when he taught her to drive!) But it's probably due to the fact she's older, so as a teen he can relate to her more already.

Why didnt I get any of these when I joined, heh?

And yet there are pictures to remind you of this tragic mistake? It's either funny or cute, anyway I'd want to see it!

Very good example: this episode is about how Bob is way more comfortble and having great times with Louise than Gene. And for once father and son bond over something! That's like "the exception to confirm the rule", to translate a French idiomatic phrase!

oh yeah that was great: they do have a regular babysitter so they do have time off together even if Linda complained in Seaplane it's gotten a bit typical.
