I'll give you my answer: if someone is willing to commit murder, then they're probably willing to break a few gun laws to do so.

Okay, so that's mass shootings. How about non-mass shooting violent crime - assaults, beatings, stabbings, robberies, home invasions, attempted murder, etc.? Do you honestly think there has NEVER been a case of any of those crimes being stopped with a "good guy with a gun"?

And the participants usually have zero training, in which case they might as well be unarmed.

Okay. So try this. France has some of the most strict control laws in the world, yet Paris still happened. Why do you think that is?

California has some of the most strict gun control laws in the country, yet San Bernardino still happened. Why do you think that is?

Indeed.

It happens, but it rarely makes the national news, so people assume it never happens.

It does happen, you know. Just because it rarely makes the national news doesn't mean it never happens.

None of them, huh?

In Carol's defense, she was 100% correct.

Okay, but do you know anybody who actually LOVES him?

I'm pretty sure Rob Liefeld is not so much polarizing as universally hated.

A few years ago, I saw my then-girlfriend using a kid's coloring book. At the time, I had an extremely visceral, negative reaction to it (not expressed to her).

They all are now.

I've always preferred "molten-esque".

My conspiracy theory: the original wasn't really smashed. Someone yoinked it.

Sounds like it's going to be a lot of WORK! WORK!

I don't care if it's a man or woman, as long as it's a former President.

This musical is about Alexander Hamilton? I thought it was about the Count from Sesame Street because of all the fucking lists.
