I think the review of Blood Oath misses the mark a bit in the way it is focusing on what the episode means for the DS9 characters because the purpose of the episode was indeed more about the guest stars. I think the dining room is meticulously stocked by professional casting agents, since it's not a real restaurant but a soundstage. So I suspect the celebrities are recruited and the others are probably day players or extras, or friends of casting agents or reality show junkies who get bored and know people.

Yeah. This episode had a lot of people about to get chewed out only to spring bigger news that kind of absolves them. Like when Megan was going to chew out Don for not telling her Sally was coming and Don changing the subject with the Lane embezzlement news.

Nah. Then he probably would have kicked on the door and Joan would have heard it. I think the implication was that he had kicked off early in the morning.

Roger's line to Don after the Dow meeting was priceless: "I'll buy you a drink when you wipe the blood off your mouth."

"Betty is wonderfully sympathetic in these moments, in a way the show doesn’t allow her to be as much anymore."
