The editing made it seem like that was the trick. After rewatching the scene a few times, it seems like Artemis might have bit down on a capsule.

How did they mask her heartbeat? When they showed a second angle of Aquaboy's faked stabbing, there was a snapping sound, but I didn't catch what that was supposed to be.
