Yeah, I feel basically the same way. The draw for me was hanging out with these people and not so much the master plot. It's just kind of a bonus that they've nailed The Mother in the final season (Yeah I did. Had to).

Absolutely. To label him with any known pathology is too reductive. He is Evil. Contrast him with someone like Francis Dolarhyde, who is lowercase "e" evil by comparison. Dolarhyde does what he does by compulsion; he kills the same way a female preying mantis does after mating. It's instinct, and no matter how

That was one thing that kind of fell flat for me. I mean, I don't know what I was expecting from it; they teased an actual bear all season and then damned if they didn't deliver a bear. I guess I was expecting that joke to take a left turn at the end.

Slapsgiving 2 is just kind of ok. But yeah, Zoo or False is fucking awful.

1) Life Among The Gorillas/Nothing Good Happens After 2am
2) Lucky Penny
3) Slapsgiving
4) Right Place, Right Time
5) Perfect Week
6) Natural History
7) Symphony of Illumination
8) The Time Travellers
9) How Your Mother Met Me

So you were dislappointed?

Liked, but as a Jays fan, I'm mostly just liking your pain.

Juddish Hirschetype. Same thing.

I asked Todd about that on Twitter and he said there's no regular coverage because it'll basically be the same type of thing every week and presumably there wouldn't be enough to talk about to justify a weekly review.

I'm reading Red Dragon for the first time now. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through the book and his wife gets one or two offhand mentions. Unless she shows up in the climax of this thing, that's probably it.

Donna hinted this week that reviewing the first two seasons of HIMYM might keep her around a little longer, so it'd be crazy not to take a whack at that if she were so inclined.

I'm of the opinion that if his grave happened not to be too far out of your way it would be totally justifiable to piss all over this guy's grave.

Yeah, those are notable exceptions, but in Scrubs' defense they did get a ridiculous number of people back for the finale. Hard to hold a couple missing actors against them.

Top 10 in chronological order:

I love the idea that Robin makes a point of calling in to Patrice's show just to treat her like crap. I guess it doesn't reflect too well on Robin, but her shouting at Patrice is never not funny.

I thought it already was! I can't remember who coined it a couple weeks ago but they're a freaking genius.

Fuller tweeted during the episode that we should "Watch the stag for a clue about this week's murderer." I believe he was talking about the Original Recipe Stag from Will's dream near the end of the episode and not Swiggity-Swag The Nightmare Stag, who popped up when Hannibal was on the stand.

Well, that number is pretty insignificant. Then again, it's fucking bafflingly not zero.

Bit of a step down from the previous weeks but still incredbily engaging stuff. B+.

The original Cosmos always struck me as being about the history of human discovery as much as it was about the discoveries themselves. So it's not surprising that the new series looks to retain some of that focus. That's the stuff that I found most inspiring about the original.
