Well, I did that in the first place. But I'll try and make it a little clearer. You're right about the character journeys being the best part, after all.

He's a little better next week when he gets to be the bad guy, but not by much. That scene in Part 1 where he's catching up with Sisko is one of the most wooden things I've ever seen. It feels like when they shot Cal's angles they just taped the script to Brooks' forehead for him to read.

I had forgotten that the book specifically said it was rehearsed. Still, it's made pretty clear by the way that the actors play it. Also, there's the fact that nobody lets anything important in King's Landing play out in public unless the deal's been made in a back room beforehand.

If you rearrange "TCM" you get "CMT". And then you sit down and watch the Pauly Shore marathon like God fucking intended.

On one of the commentaries Bays and Thomas said that they showed the pilot to an audience and recorded those laughs. The laugh track for every single episode since then is just that recording re-purposed.

I like "Sanctuary" because it's the "sometimes racism is okay" episode of Star Trek.

Blah, blah, opposite of Batman, etc.

We have a long history of amazing Trek threads here and this one just became the greatest of all time without even trying.

@avclub-618fd0370047b25592c8a7db0ff8a9c0:disqus "The Wire" is amazing and pretty underrated, I'd say.

"Bones… I need you… badly!" - J.T. Kirk (No Homo)

Blasto 6 was fucking hilarious and totally unexpected. Badassfully.

It's kind of cool that the actress who plays Patrice gets to have a job solely because Cobie Smulders fucking nailed a line in her first appearance.
