Yeah, but Wise must have cut fucking 20 reaction shots of people gaping at the viewscreen. That's my biggest complaint about the original cut.

I agree, but those were really the only duds. Other than that, it was pretty awesome. Of course, in this argument I'm forgetting that "These Are The Voyages…" even exists. That episode is a hate crime.
The real crime of Nemesis is that it's full of fanboy stuff but none of it really appeals to fans. That movie's a fucking punchline to nerds, as this thread will attest.
We're bitching about movies. Nobody's "wrong" in the truest sense of the word. If he says he's wrong, chalk it up to opinion. Just like your comment is.
I can't remember, did Picard accidentally mow him down when he was being Rambo? If so, I take back all my reservations about that scene.
Tom Riker showed up at DS9 later. There was… unpleasantness. There continues to be unpleasantness because Kira is apparently a shiftless liar.
I'm hoping he's spending the time writing up an epic yarn. It was his first feature, after all. There was probably all manner of wenching going on.
Word. There's vast stretches of that movie where the only thing even happening is the score.
Actually it was shorter than that and it was awesome. Couple seconds of ship set to the captain's log and you're done. I thought it was really good.
Mark's a "true Trekkie" because he hates it. I hang out on a Trek board and nobody there likes anything.
I often hear people gripe about the Queen being too sensual and emotional. I don't buy it. She's doing an approximation of sensual. She's the Borg's idea of seductive. She doesn't really feel the things she's doing, she's trying to appeal to Data's need to be human. I mean, look at that kiss and tell me that it's not…
That's a nice bit of reasoning and I guarantee you that nobody who made the movie even thought twice about it.
Yeah but I think I saw a typo in there. Provide better free entertainment, Handlen!
Happy 45th indeed. I met my wife thanks to Trek. May it always continue to inspire nerds to argue about the proper angle warp nacelles should be placed at!
Well, the uniforms change in "Rapture" so that makes it pretty easy to nail down.
They changed the carpet. So there.
It would have been cool to give Sisko and Picard another scene together, and here's just as good a place as any. Sisko sort of came to grips with the whole Locutus thing at the end of "Emissary" but could he find it in him to actually like and respect the guy?
Yeah, I know. I think Enterprise's 4th season is that good. Probably a minority opinion.
Seven pissed me off. Here was a character who didn't even really want to be human but if you look at the writing that's what they were striving for. And they kept inventing barriers to keep her from attaining it. I can't remember the name of the episode but that one where she was banging Holo-Chakotay was awful.…
Never heard it phrased like that before. And you're right.
