I've put some work into convincing someone I ride with a lot who is more on the right-wing side of the spectrum that NPR is great. And they're convinced! Until a weekend comedy/game show like "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" comes on and they get hit with five really, really, REALLY easy/dumb/unfunny anti-Republican jokes.

I actually like Kornheiser. And Woody Paige, too. I tend to like ESPN personalities who recognize that sports are dumb. I say this as a big fan of sports.
