Once upon a time, sure. But we're pretty much past that time.

I need to play more ranked.

Diablo did way more with mood than most games of its time.

I think my 2015 GOTY was Rocket League, which is a tough one to compare to much of anything.

Diablo did lots of things very well, which led to it being a unique game experience at the time.

Lately, it's been a ton of "play a game, finish, next game queues up, doesn't quite make, throws you into that WAITING purgatory round, fails to find people, starts over" for me.

Also, sure, let's whine here.

I have a few friends from college that I mostly stay in touch with through games. Having something a little more grind-oriented helps me focus less on story, meaning I can chat while playing and have a better time.

The expansion for Diablo (Hellfire, I think? Somehow made by Sierra?) added some blah content and a run feature.

I'm gonna say yes, Diablo was that influential.

It can be done. I had really good sushi in Fargo, of all places.

I will save my whining about the lack of The Witness for the next section. Hopefully it's there.

Same here. It isn't even close.

It's maybe a little fucked up that this list is high-value but not absolute biggest name leading men and Scarlett fucking Johansen.

We kinda have to be anti-knowledge. The truth doesn't glow with some sort of magical light indicating that it's true.

Maybe listen to better people? Which I guess is me. So uh, way to be full of myself, me.

Policy and positive messaging. Lots of people don't actually care about policy (there are plenty of conservatives who preferred Bernie to Hillary. Hillary's much closer to their left/right alignment, but Bernie's seen as a nicer guy).

Yup.

Eh. He's very important there. But president is more important.

He's focused on trying to be a serious politician. I'm sure the humor could resurface in a debate setting.
