Admittedly, I haven't seen Into Darkness, but the idea of killing off Kirk (instead of just a fakeout) was really interesting. They're already in an alternate universe, why not have fun and go a little crazy with it? How would it affect Spock? Would he maybe be a little more reckless, a little more Kirk-esque, but

Well, if it is the kid(s) who killed them, and the show is trying to stick a little closer to the comics than in the past, then the problem of what to do with the killer is going to be a bit more muddled.

Every episode follows the exact. same. script. The unforeseen problem.
The designer women tells the pissy homeowners that they won't be able to
get most of the renovations. The realtor guy shows the pissy homeowners
two bad houses and a third perfect one outside of their budget. 90% of the time the homeowners end up

The wife and I use the "HahahahahaYOU'RE STUCK HERE!" from whichever Fugitive Alien it comes from all the time.

Which means he'll probably be dead soon.

Has a Hershel Walker joke been made yet? I feel like it has.

I wonder if he'll ever get to the point of Comics Rick: a little rash, a little batshit, but definitely decisive and not wishy-washy.

British kids shows seem a lot more tolerable. I can watch Charlie and Lola and Kipper all day they're so quiet and restrained. I (and the kid's, too) love Sara and Duck. It's so charming and fun and goes off on little tangents.

"And here's little Lisa Simpson: Springfield's answer to a question NO ONE ASKED!"

I think I'd pick Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" as a simple but elegant final way to go out.

Calliou always gets a lot of flak but I don't find it anywhere near as annoying as Dora or the seemingly hundred of newer kids shows that constantly constantly pause to address the camera. Just tell the story already.

They were the Bvengers.

The sweet Laurel Canyon soundstage.

I guess my wife for a long time thought the Star wars line was 'Manny Bothans died to bring us this information." She couldn't figure out who the hell Manny Bothans was supposed to be.

This is what I've been thinking for awhile, too. It would also be a way to get her off the show.

I'm kind of hoping that they're making Carol the badass Andrea is in the comics and just dumping tv Andrea at some point.

Do they still have that infinite ammo shotgun lying around?

Totally agree with you, greenpanDan, on Steve Martin's cameo. The wife and I still say "OH MAY I??" on a regular basis.

Very much agreed.

I loved how the geeks on Freaks and Geeks looked naturally weird and awkward.
