I think the implication is that his baby mama's influence has led him toward public service, hinty hint hint. He'd be electable on name recognition alone.

@Kumagoro:disqus It was for vampire "relations," not TB, ironically.

@eric827:disqus And hopefully you realize I'm using this as an excuse to say flaccid over and over, because unless it becomes some new "trend," serious actors are never going to be lining up to flop around. It's pretty much ready for action or missing in action.

@eric827:disqus They cast for gratuitous nudity in women; I'm pretty sure they could cruise for dick professionally.

@avclub-6d6285f92ba0ef734664f38cad2ee091:disqus Because of my underuse of the word "flaccid" or because I was avoiding that particularly unfunny phrase?

Regular White Guy

@avclub-c6447300d99fdbf4f3f7966295b8b5be:disqus That's a hell of a euphemism.

I know, I had to rewatch it to find it. Lord, the people are starved for dick.
We have the internet, fer crissakes.

Vampires don't feel cold.

I'm all for coming up with rationalizations, but how is it that it even got into the human population to the degree that everybody has to get tested? If Sookie and Jason, etc. have been in monogamous relationships and not bitten by infected vampires, how could they possibly have it? What was that, a show of support?

I said sexuality, not homosexuality.
Obviously, the issue here would be the long term deception by someone people have been told to trust with their best interests, which I don't think flies well anywhere. Look at Italy, I think they went with flaunting and a possible oops.
It's the cover ups that get ya.

It seemed like the predictable answer at the time, more so rewatching it. I don't agree with your Aaron/Jaye ideas but it's interesting to look at the sibling's choices, which seem to have a smugness to them. Aaron didn't believe in "god" and so studied theology. Jaye isn't personally concerned with ethics/moral

I had a Danish friend I made over a newly broadening internet pre-millenium off a site, and a group of us made our own site as ya do, or did as it may be, or such as such as we do, but I digress—
She made the point that there was a lot of lip service paid to the idea of the open minded North but how hypocritical it was

Gah, more Chris Hardwick, seriously?
At first I liked him well enough but he's just not easy to listen to in regular doses. Once I got to episodes of the Nerdist where he did most of the talking— between the whiny and the shouty—

Definitely funnier. He's just trying much more whereas Stewart, bless him, often just reads the headline and no longer feels the need to preach to the choir because the comedy is inherent, so then he falls back on usual shtick. Colbert has always been more of a performer and the show will go on where Stewart will call

Magnitude is actually gunfire reporting. He is going off on the mean streets of Greendale.

Here's a fun theory: Sloan is actually on another show that is meta-commentary by Sorkin. For instance, just like Titanic, we know this is going to end badly, but we are meant to hold on to the doomed frozen bloated carcass and never let go with that kind of irony that loves what it mocks. I'm trying to figure out who

I don't think what I do is technically "hate-watch" but I have to second the second bit there: it's bad in a way that no other show is bad and that is fascinating.
I don't want it to be bad, I keep hoping it will be good: that's why I keep watching it, but, wow, this one was bad, nearly negating my relief that there

Oh no no no.
Who loves Broadway?
Joss Whedon. Less pedantic, more fantastic(k), way better female characterizations.
And yet sick of ensembles, OR SO HE SAYS.

@Kumagoro:disqus You know, I really don't get this feminist baggage/post-feminist thing because it's not like women are not still making significantly less for the same if not more work, it's not like we are actually treated as equals already so we can "drop all that," but then I never got the negative baggage with
