I get what you mean. I don't read the Dissolve that much, partly because it's not on my google homepage like the AV club is, partly because it feels a bit like doing homework, partly because they don't do TV reviews, and partly because no O'Neal newswires.

I rarely laugh at sitcoms even when I generally enjoy the episode, and I got 3-4 big laughs out of this one, particularly Duncan's Dane Cook/British Jason Biggs speech, and the Chang stuff.

Compared to the show's mid-00's peak maybe. The movie is vastly superior to the most recent seasons though. And I still love the songs.
