Roeper put it well today when he said that Nolan could direct a fine King's Speech, but Hooper probably couldn't direct a good Inception. The direction on The King's Speech is good but not incredible.

netflix
This show needs to get added to Instant View. I would watch the hell out of it.
John Leguizamo. Yes.
The Netflix episodes are usually the full versions, right? They last 50 minutes, typically.
It's because they tried to deliver a "Some say" in the first episode and it fell horribly flat. They pull off the "Some say" because of their delivery and facial expressions. It's one of my favorite running gags.
I liked Troy and Abed in Stop Motion slightly more, though Starburns' wounded delivery of "My name is Alex!" in his appearance was excellent.
Robin's dad was my favorite. "Aw, you remembered!"
Pretty sure that was forced perspective. It was cute, though. I would've wanted more Danny Strong if the rest of the episode wasn't so … damn, what's another word for strong? "Good"? Yes. If it wasn't so good.
Listening to Once More, With Feeling right now.
Coincidence? I think … probably.
Four days later… Someone skinny who looks like they have the capacity to eat a lot. Jesse Eisenberg, maybe, or the kid from KickAss.
Also, Lurky, SMG being referred to as SJP made me laugh out loud…
My issues with "Provider" are more in line with Noel's. With three separate plots that never converge, it makes it hard to concentrate on or ever get invested in any of them. I like the Fred portions a lot, but that seemed like it deserved its own episode.
@bartcow: That was the first Angel episode I really liked, because it reminded me of The X-Files around seasons 1 and 2, and I finally felt like Angel had potential. (Ha! That's kind of a pun, because… Never mind.) Of course, there are many, MANY better episodes than that, but it was a nice jumping off point.
Y'know, all of these are good, but only the Daniels made me laugh.
Not gonna lie, I really like "Teenage Dream." Not because it's good. But because it's delightfully shitty.
To be fair to him, that shirt is badass.
Harry Potter series, The Giver, Stargirl, anything by Louis Sachar, The Wednesday Wars, and Walk Two Moons all come to mind immediately. I'm in the thick of the Hunger Games trilogy right now, which is pretty fantastic.
Matter Eater Lad, guys. Matter Eater Lad.
Dinosaurs
I like this guy so much more outside the context of Web Soup. Even his other appearances on G4 are worlds better.
The Mayor is almost certainly my favorite villain in all of BTVS and Angel. Holtz is right up there, too. BTVS often suffers from having a weak villain at the center. Glory was interesting, but she wasn't a convincing threat till her last moments (and subsequently Buffy's), and the first is just a retread of…
