Baby tigers!
To reiterate what I just tweeted: this is awesome. In every way. Yay, Todd! Huzzah!

This must be a zoo thing or something, phel. Last time I was at Lincoln Park Zoo, I saw a grown woman with the Twilight logo tattooed on the back of their neck. One by one, everyone I was with noticed it, and one by one, everyone failed to stifle their laughter.
Thumbs up.
I really enjoyed this pilot—unique, engaging, well-acted, funny, and relatable. I can't think of anything particularly witty or anti-fat to say … any other thoughts, having actually seen the show now?
I can answer this one: he was in David Copperfield on the BBC, playing young David. In terms of HP, I think his acting becomes legitimately good in the fourth film. And before that, he's not bad so much as young, and he acts just as well as I'd expect the average 11 year old to.
My Favorite Rifftrax
Mr. Citizen and I have watched The Happening with Rifftrax three times. Everyone should probably buy it immediately. It's even better than New Moon.
Which one? I think there were like six with that guy.
Spike's my favorite character in this series, but his relationship with Buffy is quite frustrating, particularly after season five closes. This could have a lot to do with the fact that season six and season seven weren't going to exist, but that's another thread altogether.
I didn't say it was BAD that I tweet about my cat! The cat is incredible! You should hear her opine about Foucault! Trenchant!
There's a couple things worth mentioning here: I tweet about my cat a lot, but I also tweet about the husband, as if to validate myself as a non-cat lady. And many, many things I say are anecdotes that only about 5 other people I find even remotely interesting.
AdmiralChristy.
@idiotking: She's been my pick for best (dramatic) actress on the show since the "telling her parents about the baby" scene. Underused for sure, and the new dynamic with Mercedes is so hackneyed that it doesn't advance her role or display her talent very much at all.
No matter how much I critique the show, I still love when the supporting cast members get a song of their own (especially when it's Kevin McHale or Dianna Agron). "Rose's Turn" was enough to make me respect Chris Colfer, however grudgingly, and this interview makes me think he's grateful for where he is. Such…
The more often I re-read your comment, scotteb, the more I laugh. And Drew Barrymore is wrong. This is a fact.
I love "Bro Rape," a phrase I will probably never type again. But I love "Mad Hatter" even more. As I've said before, Donald Glover can make a funny face and I'll laugh for at least a minute and a half. AT LEAST.
If I can hear Mike O'Malley say something to the effect of "They're called GUTS, do you have them?" I won't stop smiling for at least an hour.
Miley Cyrus-related query
I'm disappointed no party member of ANY party has attempted to use "Party in the USA" without Miley's permission. My dream lawsuit: "Gravel Vs. Cyrus."
My abridged feelings on Glee: it would be better if they shortened it to half an hour, removed voiceover narration, learned how to show and not tell with dialogue, and expanded their characters beyond labels like "Gay Kid," "Sensitive Jock,"and "Sassy Black Girl."
If you're from Africa, why are you white?
Jack has never been my favorite character, and I strongly disliked him for a season or two, but now he's as likable as he's ever been.
In what I thought was a great episode, Ryan's list of cheating behaviors was my favorite part.
