I believe the first real holodeck-focused episode is the 16th, in which Riker romances a jazz loving hottie named Minuet with lines like "What is a knockout like you doing in a computer-generated gin joint like this?"

Tim and Jay were so into each other, just like Jay was so into those tumblers.

Poor Tim indeed. Can't wait for the Tim v. Emilio smackdown!

I never read The Notebook, but I remember taking part in a discussion of why I never should, due to a graphic description of geriatric sex. No to toplessness, yes to carnal relations between the elderly. The man needs to get his priorities straight.

My reaction to this was (internally) "OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH TNG!!!" I was just coerced into watching an epic season six two-parter last night, and reminded of how impressive the show can be when they were really trying.
