It's hard to find old Cracked issues; I got rid of my stack a long time ago and have only found a few at thrift stores. Now I only have three issues that have been in my bathroom for three years. They're kind of gross to read but one of them has a piece where he drew comic strips as if Ronald Reagan wrote them. John

The longstanding "WE NEVER TAKE NOTES" policy of the show didn't last long into Al Jean's eager-to-please second run as EP.

The Napeleon Dynamite cartoon already feels like something that would've aired 8 episodes on MTV2 back in 2005.

Yeah, bringing Lunchlady Doris back was in extremely bad taste; Grau was a treasure who EARNED that voice, and deserves much better than a lousy Tress MaNeille imitation. If it wasn't for the tragic nature of Hartman's death, I doubt the current Simpsons would have any qualms with resurrecting Troy Maclure or Lionel

This article made me go buy the new-ish oral history of MTV. Thanks.

Yeah, I've almost caught up with the entire backlog. I'ts going to be a slow drip soon.

The Flophouse needs a permanent spot in this for sure; those three guys have amazing chemistry and fit right into the classic comedy trio personalities. Stuart Wellington is a delightful scoundrel, Elliott is a smarmy know-it-all, and Dan is the neurotic mess trying to hold it all together. I know one of those guys is

Season 1 of Dexter was a really interesting exploration of a completely amoral character that you didn't necessarily root for — some of his kills in that one were downright disturbing. Seasons 2 to present have been The Sexy Adventures of Dexter in Sexy Miami.

Wow, I had no idea this song had actual lyrics — in English, no less!

I really enjoyed this episode, but it could have been better; Sestero's coyness with his answers felt like he was more interested in teasing his upcoming book than participating in the conversation. Also I wanted to hear at least one story about Michelle and her sexy 1996 outfits.

Whoa, Tim and Eric? I'm happy they're getting some attention but they don't seem very Simpsons.

Christine Cavanaugh (who played Marty) is one of the best voice actors to ever live. Shame she mysteriously retired nearly ten years ago.

I like when Beavis takes satisfaction in something.

Nah, it was just "town full of idiots." the series didn't drop even the slightest ref to B&B.

I love that they kept the old couch animations. It's like 30 drawings but I know them so well. I wonder who drew those?

Todd gives any show a break if there are cute girls in it. There, I said it. I'd say it again if I had to.

The only bad episode of The Critic is the REALLY bad clip show where they just keep reusing old animation and it never really syncs up with the voice acting. It's really awkward.

Yeah, the show was actually doing well when it was cancelled. When Futurama got canned, it was actually pulling in bigger ratings than The Simpsons is getting now. That's pretty messed up.

There's some brilliant character animation to be found in the Critic; the cut to Jay wistfully singing Beauty and King Dork is an amazing little chunk of footage that I've rewound and rewatched 1000 times.

I wasted 92 years on buying melons. My life is a hollow lie.
