Agreed. That opening sequence to me is not worthy of this fantastic show.  Maybe they thought really hard on what images/videos to include but it seems too contrived.  It lacks sophistication.  I think it may discourage people from watching it.

Aww, I think Dexter's opening is brilliant but I do forward thru it because I just can't watch it again after so many seasons.  Guess they don't think they can do any better than that.

I think Dexter is trying to convince his sister so he wouldn't mention those times he messed up.  Or maybe in some level he has to think of himself as doing something of value so he conveniently forgets about those times?

I'm still having a hard time believing that he did all that to Dexter only because Dexter snubbed his game idea.
