The Parallax View is one of the must underrated films ever. It seems to get lost in the shuffle when great films of the 70's are brought up. The final scene in the conference hall with the Senator and marching band is chilling, the cinematography flawless, the ending perfect.

Guns are so far above the rest they were never considered hair metal. Ratt is underrated. They have 7 or 8  good songs. Ratt and Roll!  RIP Robin Crosby. (He was the one with AIDS right?)

Agreed, as a survivor of 1989, I can tell you Appetite for Destruction, Dr. Feelgood, and Open up and Say Ahhh, were all equally big that year.
Also I was 10 that year so my view may be skewed. But I swear at the daycare I went to they were all equally huge.

Crue is under GNR, but had hits before them, while Poison, Ratt, Warrant, Dokken and Winger.. were all Crue wannabes. Not saying Crue is great but they were the original 80's hair metal band. And they have as many hits as Warrant, Dokken, Ratt, and Poison combined. 

Dr. Feelgood, KickStart My Heart, and Same ol Situation still rock

KSDK pre-empted Abed's Christmas special last year and I believe a few other episodes, for this terrible show of paid spots called Show Me St. Louis. Oh, but the voice over said Community would be replayed Sunday at midnight!

I would just like to say FUCK KSDK, St. Louis NBC affiliate, for pre-empting Community so they could run a 30 minute infomercial on local Christmas light displays. So not streets ahead, they really Brita'd my entire night.
