I love Mr. Show, but I tried watching The State on Netflix and I really found it spotty at best. I don't think The State comes close to being as good as Mr Show. I do like Stella, Michael and Michael Have Issues and Wet Hot American Summer is perfect.

Very nostalgic. One of my college roommates bought someone's VHS copies of every Mr. Show episode(this was 1999). He loved those tapes so much he wouldn't let us watch them if he wasnt home. Fucker.

MyName you're right in the sense that The Paul Reiser Show is worse than all the shows mentioned above, except maybe Daddio, but I was comparing it in the sense that NBC has a great lineup and keeps trying to shoehorn in unfunny comedies.

A Small Wonder spinoff? I figured that would focus on Jamie's transformation into a serial rapist/killer. You know after a childhood of banging his robot sister that "slept" in his closet.

Seinfeld High Point
These two episodes are perfect. Seinfeld had many many high points but this is the tops. The Opposite might be the greatest sitcom episode ever. Even better than the season 3 finale of Small Wonder. Yes, I went there.

If you substitute "Reiser" for "Mother" in the Danzig song, you get a much better & darker story about the time Glenn Danzig watched Mr. Write on a flight to Australia.

I'm with you on people who "predict" plot points. My parents will do that for just about every network procedural and even write down their correct guesses in a little notebook. They do the same thing with movies, guessing what characters will say.. so fucking annoying.
