What I'm getting is: Peter thinks he's in an alternate timeline of his own universe, but that since it's not "his" timeline, he needs to find a way to his own.

Only the Nickelodeon series, not the terribad M. Night movie.
I picked up Carnivale last summer from my local library, I was bored, and had my cable off… I devoured both seasons, and was disappointed as hell that there wasn't more.
Generous grade. It was a good episode, but probably a B- / C+.
What I love about 30 Rock, past and present, is when the jokes are rapid fire, sharp, and they hit on different levels, whether it's slapstick physical humor or just bizarre shit that works. This episode was great, I think I liked it better than last week's, and that's high praise.
So, How many people are betting that we're going to get a "You've been home all along" type reveal? I'm not sure if I'd be disappointed or satisfied. I suppose it'd be up to how it was written.
There's that, and the fact that Nick is the equivalent of "the dumb blonde in horror movies" for the first handful of episodes, entering houses or places without his gun drawn, making very stupid mistakes. And all of a sudden he's a gladiatorial powerhouse who's able to hold off a bloodlusting monstrosity?
Did we ever find out what happened between Hank and the Hexenbeast? Seems like something was gonna develop there and sorta just got forgotten.
Well, that'd be great, because the last thing I want to see is a Carnivale-esque ending, where things don't get wrapped up properly.
The only time I can think of when it wasn't was the single "musical" episode, and I found that better than alot of other television.
Yeah, when Peter first showed up in his consciousness, I was worried they were going to take some sort of "omniscient alien" bullshit angle that would really sour me on it. Well handled.
Great episode. I loved the reveal with September, the way Olivia figured [not]Nina out, and the way the characters played off of each other.
